Speedy First Step is fast acting cutting compound that will work on any metal surface. It’s great for removing heavy oxidation, stains, rust, soil, road tar, and brake dust. The special formula is water soluble, completely biodegradable and free from waxes, silicones, caustic chemicals and petroleum. Use this as a pre-step to Speedy Metal Polish on highly weathered and tarnished surfaces.

Speedy First Step Metal Cutting Compound can easily and quickly clean heavily oxidized and stained metal surfaces whether applied by hand or machine. Formulated from 100% active ingredients, First Step gives you the heavy duty cut of sand paper with the ease of spreading a liquid. It is made thicker than other polishes so it stays where you put it and does all the work so you don’t have to! Any residue left from this polish can be quickly removed with a clean cloth or easily rinsed off with water. With the intended purpose of being used as a pre-polish, First Step works best when followed up with an application of Speedy All Metal Polish.

How-To’s

Directions:

• Use a high speed buffer with a damp foam compound or polishing pad
• Use a spray bottle of water to keep area from drying out
• Wash residue off using a hose or a clean cloth
• Pad can be cleaned by washing it with just water
• Use Speedy Metal Polish to bring up the shine

Machine Use:

Spread Speedy evenly over surface of cloth or four-zero steel wool. Rub Speedy until residue breaks slightly. Let Speedy set until haze is tacky. Use polishing or sponge bonnet. Speedy will not harm most clear coats, decals, or painted surfaces. Residue will wash off of weld seams and other places with mild soap and water without losing the shine or protection.
